Kheer / Rice Pudding

Ingredients:100g rice
1 litre milk
1 milkmaid
Chopped nuts and cardamom powder for decoration

Serves: 8
Preparation time: 25-30 minutes


Method:
  1. Wash rice and pressure cook in milk for 10 minutes (or cook on slow fire, till rice is soft).
  2. Add condensed milk and cook for another 5 to 7 minutes, stirring continuously, until the Kheer/Rice Pudding reaches a desired consistency.
  3. Remove from fire.
  4. Serve garnished with nuts and cardamom powder.
  5. If Rice Pudding/Kheer  is served chilled, keep it a little sweeter because cold kheer tastes less sweet than hot, now your world best KHEER or RICE PUDDING is ready to eat.
